Introducing Ginger Lily Farms

One of the most exciting product launches of 2009 is about to take place. There will be no fireworks, no models wearing skimpy bikinis, no coupons or full page ads in Vogue, Allure or Glamour. And no pre packs or shelf talkers.

That’s because Ginger Lily Farms doesn’t need any of the typical tools marketers such as Procter & Gamble and L’Oreal use in supermarkets, drug stores, and let’s not forget, WalMart.

Ginger Lily Farms is the first pro line of shampoos and conditioners that retail for $2.99. Available in two formulas-moisturizing for all hair types and color treated, and in two sizes-8 oz. and 32 oz. ($8.99 retail).

Finally salons can compete with mass retailers. However the best part about Ginger Lily Farms is that the products are amazing. All products contain Awapuhi, a derivative of the Ginger Lily (hence the name of the product). Awapuhi is a natural cleanser and has been used for thousands of years.

The fragrance is incredible. Imagine the scent of a ginger lily-tropical, luscious and intoxicating-that is what the product smells like. The shampoo lathers and the conditioner conditions. Consumers will love it.

Our first shipment of 5000 cases arrives late next week. Based on early sentiment, it won’t last long. That’s OK, we’ll make more. However, one thing is for certain: Ginger Lily Farms will not be sold in supermarkets, drug stores or WalMart. Only pro salons can buy and sell it.

You finally have a product that’s all yours and a product that consumers are looking for. Welcome to Ginger Lily Farms!

Happy Tuesday!

Is this also something we’ll be seeing in the stores? We think this would do really well here.

    Larry,
I love the new layout and design of the new Beauty Book, the new logos, etc. I saw the book on the counter this morning and had to take a break from my work to look at it!

We have been talking to our clients about GLF products since you announced it at our Gallup Training several months ago, so they have been asking us when we are getting it in! We are so excited!

I am excited to try this line. It is a great thing that it will only be sold to Salons. This product is going to do Amazing and I won’t be surprised if this lines becomes our #1 seller.
Thank you to Larry and Teresa for finding a product that is in the budget of so many people! :)

This is sooooo exciting!!!! I think this is just the answer for salons…..simplicity as well as a very cost effective product! The fact that you won’t see it in drugstores and the like is awesome also. It is really bothersome to salon owners that they and their customers see other professional lines at retail stores.

I can’t wait to smell and use this product myself. It would be great for backbar if it smells that good. The scent alone will sell it!

The products sound awesome. I can’t wait to experience the smell, cleansing and of course the price is great also. I believe the customers will be excited. (especially if we protrait that excitement) During these economic times people will not have to sacrifice quality because they can’t afford the “good stuff”. Will it be available in the stores?

Got a case of each— Finally and it is “Just OK”. Reminds me of the Awaphui Shampoo from PM. Smells nice, works ok. Sold 3 sets so far…………

Considering peoples financial conditions these days we feel this may increase retail sales where we are currently seeing a decline. Looking to do a trial run with using at the back bar. Gathering client and styist feedback. Toying with the idea of sending client home with samples. This may be the solution to getting some of your clients who would never consider a salon product before buying one now.
