It’s Time to Stand Up and Brag
The first month of 2009 is already half gone or there is still half the month to go. My friend who greets meet when I enter the Sports Club has already resorted back to smoking after a 9-day smoke-free run. Most resolutions by now have been broken or forgotten.
It’s 0 degrees in the Motor City but the sun is out. In another few blinks of the eye, it will be February so before the year gets into full gear and we start thinking about spring, I think today is a great day to stand up and brag about something you have accomplished in the first two weeks of the year.
After all, the news continues to suck and it’s not like anyone is telling us anything good is going to happen soon. Fact is, there still is a lot of good out there so it’s time to lift off the modesty mask, stand up, and brag out loud!
Now I understand like a crowd at an event, it takes the first person to start clapping to get others to clap. Be brave, take a chance, and be among the first to start bragging.

I’ll be the first to brag. I bought a Ellipiticall machine for Christmas and I have been working out every night when I get home. I just weighed myself and I have already dropped 10 pounds and my pants are getting loose. I am so excited. I have vowed to loose weight this year and I know I can do it. I quit smoking 3 years ago. That was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I think it is time to get the extra pounds off now.

I’m drinking more water. I have cut back to 2 cokes a day ( previously at 4-5) I’m adding a little lemon to the water and starting to almost like it.

I’ve lost 8lbs since the year began and have been excersizing everyday, as well as eating better.

Walking daily and lost an inch off my rotund waist, 4 more to go and we are back in business, well at least my pants will be!

Well, it hasn’t really been since the new year, but since July (when weight watchers started) I dropped 15 lbs. And still maintaining! So I’m proud of myself for that! My husband actually dropped 22 lbs!
So now, I need to get with my New Resolutions which is to cook more often. (i’m not much of a cooker) I really want to learn! So I’m gonna do that…here soon…lol!

I found out yest. my cholesterol is 172..I never had that checked before in my life and I am very satisfied with that number…so is my doctor =0)

I am so happy to have my deal tracking spreadsheets in order for 2009. Forecasting is now done accuratley and I am more confident on selections!!

I have lost about 5lbs since the year started. I have been going to the gym at least 3 times a week…sometimes I am very motivated and I go 4-5 days. Weight Watchers is definitely a great program. I am looking forward to next month when we find out about the new Momentum Program.

I hesitated for some time but I finally did it… Went from a blonde to a brunette in 45 minutes. Did it myself!! And have gotten compliment after compliment, so I have to brag cuz I think I done good.

I developed some tools and spreadsheets to help organize a difficult line to buy. I’m excited that these tools can be used and developed further for other buyers and other product lines.

I would like to brag about the wonderful store talent that this company has.
I had serveral talent that jumped to help cover the Canton store while I was out. I know some of them even cut there own store short to help out here. When I went out on medical we still had trend, when I came back we were totally switched over to SAP and the talent that was here helped me learn the Sap program in 2 weeks. We have great talent in this company and we should all give eachother a pat on the back.
I AM BRAGGING FOR ALL TNG TALENT!!!!NOT JUST STORES!!

I want to brag about Jamie in Maumee:) She is amazing! She does such a great job merchandising our store and making it look great. We get compliments on our store all the time from customers! Thanks Jamie!!
Now, I want to brag about both of us:) We have really been doing a great job promoting our store sales. We have done so much so that we have gained a couple of large customers that previously shopped with our competition; our persistance and attention to them has paid off, and they have both been spending much more time in the store!

its been 10days since ive had pop, its been 10 days that i drink 2 bottle of water a day,i have no coffee when i go home at night, no snacks from the vending machine and last, i try to eat three meals a day. all this quite a feat for me but im doing it all cold turkey!

Business is strong in the ski world due to snow and cold weather! My husband survived my first trip away for one week in Reno.
Saw the new Beauty Book at a friends house. Looks very sleek and I am glad I was a part of putting it together. Best of luck for the New Year at TNG Worldwide!
