Food or Water?

Quickie of the day: What is more important for your survival: food or water?

If you answered food, how many days can the average person live without eating?

If you answered water, how many days can the average person live without drinking water?

And speaking of water, what percentage of the world water supply is sea water (contains salt)?

I’m off to Chicago to detail salons and then I am invited to the ACS CEO conference. I am looking forward to hearing about new technology ACS researchers have come up with and what the future holds. I know cancer cures have been a tough climb.

OK, here are your answers!

Food: 21 days

Water: 3 days

Sea Water: 97% (that’s right, only 3% of the world’s water is drinkable without major filtration).

Happy Wednesday-Friday!

I won’t last one day without water. Because without water, I would not be able to have coffee. And without coffee, forget about it.

Hence why it is so important for those on Survivor to get drinkable water. They would never make it the 39 days they are there (if you are in the final 3). One of my pet peeves are those who leave the water running the entire time they are in the shower or washing dishes. Our water tables are getting low and fresh water is dwindling. It’s hard to believe with all the rain we have been getting but not every one has this much rain.

21 days without food? I can’t go a couple hours without it!!! I have hypoglycemia and would be shaky without something about every 4 hours. And I’d be a LITTLE crabby. LOL

Water is the most important to me!
I can’t leave the house without it. I go into a panic for that short time when you fly somewhere and can’t have water when you go thru security until the time you can buy it again to take on the plane.
Whenever I get caught without water in the car, I am always so thirsty!

H20 is my way to go!
I always have to have a bottle with me. :)

There would be no way I’d go 21 days without food. I’m hypoglycemic….and I get the shakes, headaches and sick feeling if I don’t eat every 2-3 hours…
    Water, yea…I need my h20! I can’t live without that….not even for 3 days!

don’t leave the water running when you brush you teeth. And here’s another water saving tip for the bathroom…..

If it’s yellow, leave it mello – if it’s brown, flush it down.

    Name that movie…..

Bingo!!! You’ve win. Take the rest of the week off with triple pay. Just stop by HR to confirm.

  11. Stacy D Says:

That would be nice, but I don’t think HR would go for it.

Hydration is the key to our health. We must keep our bodies well hydrated to function and if we all make an effort to drink more the benefits will amaze you. Increase in energy, weight loss yes I said weight loss, clear thinking we could all use a little more of that. Google the benefits of hydration and you can see for yourself.

Larry I am looking for some help. I would like to contact someone in your organization regarding shipping and logistics. My name is Steve Goodman with ECHO Global Logistics I have sent my contact info to your office but I thought I would reach out to you directly.

PS I have tried that 5 hour energy dont take after 3pm if you want to sleep that night, that stuff is great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks
    Respectfully yours
