Honeymoon Over for President Barack Obama
Obama didn’t awake this morning and smell any roses. If anything, he got a hint of black tea.
For the first time in 47 years, the state of Massachusetts elected a Republican senator. What makes this significant is three things:
1. Virtually all Americans know a Republican won and virtually all Americans don’t even know the name of the candidate that won (Scott Brown).
2. Obama campaigned heavily in MA during the past few days and still lost. After one year, still not one significant victory can Obama claim.
3. Americans may yet be spared on Obama’s insidious health care bill.
Here’s the thing about Obama and health care. Nothing he does personally is in the bill. He runs, He lifts weights. He eats right. Unlike Clinton who stuffed donuts down like potato chips and Bush who couldn’t eat enough Texas steak, Obama is a health nut.
But in his grab for power and to turn health care into yet another government run business, he failed to instill one thing about wellness, incentives for healthy living and reducing costs.
Fact is, 82% of Americans like their health insurance plan and don’t want any changes. What Americans do want are lower costs, less waste, the ability to buy insurance like any other product (competition), and to resolve other issues fairly. What they don’t want is a government run health plan like the ones in Canada and the European Union. Health care is American like apple pie and hot dogs (or shall I say Honey Crisp Apples and turkey burgers).
Obama is smart. Obama is young. Obama is healthy. None of what Obama is matters if he doesn’t listen to the American people. His wake up call came last night, let’s see if he presses the snooze button or wakes up.
Happy Wednesday!
P.S. It would be nice if Detroit could vote on a new owner for its football team. After 47 years, we have one playoff victory.

82% of Americans like their health insurance plan – really, well how many Americans don’t have health insurance at all??

Well, those who do…. do like theirs and do agree with the above statement.

The healthcare industry, for quite some time, has had the ability to operate with inflated margins and drastic inefficiencies within the supply chain.
My question is how will a National Health Care solution address these? If let as is – would the economy naturally force the industry to adjust and become competitive?

Yes, we like our health insurance plans. It’s the ridiculous cost of the health insurance plans that’s making us sick.

Wake up! !!!! I am sorry for those that do not have health insurance. But if you have it or not…. you want to be able to make a choice. Let me tell you a short story, a friend of mine lives in Canada and because they do not have the ablity to be like us-it took her so long to even get to see a doctor about her sickness, by time she did get in and get approved to even get a test it was to late. She was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and basically screwed. All due to not being able to see someone when she first got sick. It took months to even get to see a doc.
WE NEED TO FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS!!!!!
FOREIGN PEOPLE COME HERE BECAUSE THEY NEED FREEDOM ETC…WELL WE ARE NO LONGER ALOUD TO HAVE THAT FREEDOM. THE GOOD OLD USA IS LOSING MORE AND MORE OF OUR RIGHTS!!! FIGHT TO STAY AMERICAN!!!!!

Unfortuniately…the citizens of our great nation are rarely heard or stand up for their rights. And when someone finally listens…you have to jump through hoops to get your point across. It’s an endless trail paperwork, that most individuals tire of quickly and then…you give up (this is what the government hopes for). The less we fight the more “they” win.
I see this nation crumbling under false pretences, lies and greed but you have to remember, we all have been sucked into this one way or the other and we all are to blame. Be it purchasing large homes (we can’t afford), destroying our earth by depleating every natural resource we have. And let’s not forget how “we” save money! We import and all our products from other countries because it cheaper to out source and then the Americam consumer spends, spends and spends some more…meanwhile supporting other countries and making them rich. All for what? To save a dollar of course. Don’t be surprised…Healthcare is no different!
Come on the government needs some type of control over the American people, let’s not forget they’ve given all of their control to China.
Have a great day!

I have a solution for health care and social security
How about every working American get he SAME health benefits that the government gives itself and the same retirement package the government gives itself. Too expensive??
Of course- so how about we make them participate in whatever thy create for us- You think they would fix it right then?? Of course.
Problem is they are deciding for us what is best for us yet they have no clue because they do not walk in our shoes and in most cases they don’t even live in our universe.

Everyone knows that US Government does not listen to the American People – they are only out for their best interest. I do agree – if they were to come up with something, they should also to forced to participate in it.
My Constitution states that we have a government “For the People, By the People.”

If you had Aflac you would receive cash money every time you have to use your health insurance plan. Plus most of
the plans have a wellness benefit built right in. Customizable plans all for around an hour and a half of pay each week.

Fact is, 82% of Americans like their health insurance plan and don’t want any changes.- Where is your source?
If you worked a job like most American’s do, under 30k you would feel the pain of pay freezes, job loss and oh yeah that cobra insurance among others.
Fact is, things can be improved and it would help if those ppl who have regular jobs who are hesitant for this type of reform would come around. If they lost their job tomorrow and were on un-employment for over a year they would be all for the reform! Think about the benefits of giving back! I know I would feel better if i gave up a little for everyone’s well being.
