I find that the best way to slow time down is to get a lot done. If I fill my days with things that move me towards my goals and achieve smaller goals along the way then I feel like I actually have had much more time. It is about being deliberate, not just letting things get achieved by luck. For example, if I spend an hour exercising or practising my music or studying, I feel like I have had more time than if I spent that hour in front of the TV.

We had a girl babysit for us about 9 years ago and we asked her what kind of music she listened to, she said…”I like some oldies” and we asked her what she considered oldies seeing she was 15 in 2000, and she said, “ya know Pearl Jam and mostly 90’s music.” OUCH, I was thinking when did this become oldies?

Actually it was KRTH ( K-EARTH)..The oldies station in Los Angeles. I have a pretty good radio but I dont think I can pick up 104.3 in Detroit from Southern California:)

Seriously, Bob, I’m sure if you’re referring to 104.3, but I noticed a change in their radio format. They are playing 70’s and 80’s music now. When the heck did THAT become oldies?

I’ll never forget the day I realized that time was going by too fast. And this was years ago…I was listening to the “Oldies” station in the car, you know the one, all the 50’s and 60’s music. But then it happened…They played Led Zepplin “Stairway to Heaven”! I was crushed. I immediately started driving 40 MPH in the fast lane with my left blinker on.

Jeff (my husband) and I were talking about this very subject this morning as we went through our normal morning routine. It seemed like just yesterday I was working on my weekly task calendar preparing for my busy week. I already have a jump on next weeks calendar and it will be just as jam packed. But that’s a good thing! I’m sellin’ stuff! lol

DA – what’s your secret for turning back time? lol I’m sure it’s all in one’s attitude!
