Handbags, Shoes and Makeup
Loading ...Name 3 items women can’t live without: Handbags, shoes and makeup.
Do you know who invented the first handbag (purse)? Do you know why it’s women’s godforsaken right to carry one anywhere they go outside the home? And do you know why it’s punishable by law for a man to peek into a women’s handbag let alone look inside for something?
Do you know who invented the high heel? The mid heel? The boot? The sandal? The flat toe? The open toe? The flip flop? And who invented 342 colors, patterns, shapes for each season? And do you know why it’s punishable by stomping for a man to ask a woman why they have so many pairs of shoes?
Do you know who invented makeup? Do you know who invented lipstick, lip liner, lip gloss, lip sealer, crème foundation, liquid foundation, powder foundation, mineral foundation, mascara, waterproof mascara, lengthening mascara, eye pencils, eye liner, and the other 99 configurations? And do you know it’s also punishable by law for a man to ask a woman why they have makeup in their purse, on the vanity, in the top drawer, in the second drawer and in a box in their closet?
It will be interesting to see of the 3 items women can’t live without, which one is the most important. I have a hunch and luckily for me, hunches are not yet punishable!

I cannot live w/o my mascara. I have deep-set eyes and w/o mascara, my eyes just disappear. Since the eyes are the mirrors of the soul, I want people to be able to see them.
As for the issue of my husband looking into my purse for something….I have nothing to hide so I don’t care. I also feel free to look into his wallet or briefcase for the same reason. If he has something he doesn’t want me to see, he’d better not keep it in either of those places.

My list would include High-Heel Shoes and Hairclips.
It seems like there should be more, but there hasn’t been much “wow” factor out there lately for accessories – or so it seems.

No way is my husband allowed to go into my purse.
Plus I do not want him asking why I need to carry 3 or 4 lipsticks!
It is not that I have something to hide.
The question is why do you need to go into it?
We share everything else, why do I have to share MY purse.
By the way, I would NEVER go into his wallet for the same reason.

Eyeliner, Handbag, and perfume. Wouldn’t go a day without any of these

I am fast approaching ‘Imelda Marcos’ level! One day my husband made the mistake of asking me “How pairs of black shoes do you need?” Really~? He promptly went out and bought another over-the-door shoe rack for my black shoes! LOL
