tng worldwide TOP 5 WORK PLACES 2012
Once again for the past four years since tng worldwide (TNG) has entered, we made the top 35 for our category, mid-size (there are also the small and large categories).
However this year we made the Top 5 and were presented with an award at the annual breakfast.
Before this event was around, we won seven consecutive years as being one of the Best 101 companies to work for.
While the awards and accolades are great for recruiting new talent and displaying in the lobby, the most important reason why we keep entering these events is that we want to be a better company each and every year and have our talent understand what it takes to be a great team-based organization. Day-in, day-out, it isn’t easy. Just look at the Spartans, Wolverines and Lions and they know firsthand all too well winning and working at as a team is difficult at best.
It takes a lot of facets to make a great team. For us, it’s our great managers and Gallup-based HR department more focused on engagement and strengths than weaknesses. It’s also the talent that pulls together especially when tasks need to get done by deadline. Our corporate move to our new facility in New Hudson is a prime testament. It went seamless, on-time and with no down time.
According to the survey results, here are what some employees said about working at TNG:
“I am appreciated for the work I do. I am recognized and respected as a valued employee. And my opinions do count!”
“I am treated fairly and respected.”
“I have flexibility, variety and autonomy. The owners really care about us.”
“I work for an great company that actually cares about their employees. I have amazing managers and co-workers.”
“The great surroundings, benefits, and opportunities.”
“Appreciative ownership and management.”
The BUB (Teresa) and I are very grateful for the great team of talent we have and look forward to keeping the winning attitude. In fact, even though Microsoft was #1 this year, if I was them, I would be looking over my shoulder.
For now, we will take being in the Top 5. Thank you TNG talent!
Happy Monday!

It is an honor and a priviledge to work for this company. I enjoy coming to my store every morning with a game plan for the day but knowing that something new could happen at any time(and often does). Thank you.

Our thanks go out to you and Teresa. If it wasn’t for the both of you we wouldn’t have the opportunity to be the ‘top’ anything. If not for great leadership we wouldn’t be able to be ‘great’ talent. I think we have worn out the word “Thank You” but I don’t know of any other way to verbally express the gratitude we all feel. Keep up the amazing work so that we can also!!!!
