YO Hair Color by Kemon: “It’s Wild Stuff”
Thursday, May 12th, 2011According to Vitale, “The basis of good health and a healthy planet is personal responsibility.” “People have more and more allergies,” he bemoans,”and we’re doing it to ourselves.”
After working more than 20 years in the industry using chemical-laden products, he started to worry.
The story continues on until he discovers a new hair color that is yogurt-based and free of ammonia and paraphenylenediamine, YO hair color by Kemon. The article concludes with Vitale’s closing comments, “It’s wild stuff, and it works just as well as, if not better than, the traditional color.”
These are the kinds of stories that sets Kemon apart from the rest. With the introduction of NaYo earlier this year, Kemon now has a full compliment of ammonia-free, fragrance-free, PPD-free hair color that covers gray 100%, lasts up to 5 weeks and creates healthier, shinier hair.
One of our own talent, Jane P. recently discovered NaYo as well. A former Aveda user and then So Color user, Jane decided to try NaYo. After using it, she found that she was in love with Kemon color. What makes a colorist try something new? According to Jane, “It made me laugh to myself how much I’ve grown in such a short period of time and how when you step out of your comfort zone you find new amazing products.”
For those like Anthony Vitale and Jane P., it’s a very exciting time to be a colorist.
Happy Thursday!
