Loading ...If anyone deserves a round of applause after leaving a company, it’s John Heffner. After spending 14 years at CND, many of those as President and reporting to Colomer in Spain, John took a sweet package, a one year consulting gig and now is prepared to plan the rest of his life on his terms. John is the perfect gentleman and he had his share of successes and failures during his tenure just as most CEO’s do. Perhaps his biggest bust was the relaunch of CND polish especially when he did the relaunch at a big trade show, Buy 1, Get 1 Free. Of course his biggest success was Shellac so always good to go out blazing. I’m sure John will end up at another great company or perhaps he will start his own. One thing I know for certain, John will keep everyone updated. Good luck John!
I’ve been driving without the radio lately and love it. Try it sometimes and notice the difference.
Having a party this weekend and making homemade Sangria. Ever have it? It’s very yummy but the key to success with any Sangria is that you have to make it the day before. Why not make some this weekend?
Our annual blood drive is coming up August 4. Do you know your blood type and have you given blood? Once you get past the enormous needle, it’s not too bad. If you are around Farmington Hills, please give blood!
The last Harry Potter movie is out and will most likely be a huge success. I loved reading the books and while only seeing a couple of the movies, Harry will be missed. But not as much as Lord of the Rings, was that good or what!
Looks like talking on a cell phone and holding a cell phone while driving will be outlawed soon enough. Good idea.
Looks like the 2011-2012 football season is back on track, shocking. Now what about our government?
