Sneak Preview: OPI Silver Shatter From Pirates of the Caribbean Collection

Loading ...I just perused through the current issue of Nailpro and virtually every ad was for gel polish. This reminds me of the acrylic days when everyone including nail techs came out with their own line. Of the more than 100 brands, less than 5 made it. Now we have the same issue with gel polish. No doubt the industry leader, CND, with its Shellac brand, will stay hot. But the other brands? Give me a break. I see two other brands making it big and the others taking crumbs away: OPI and Gelish. OPI because it’s OPI and Gelish because they were right there in the beginning and now have 72 colors. Time will tell.
Now back to Silver Shatter. If Silver Shatter sells half as well as Black Shatter, it will be another hit. We preordered nearly 10,000 bottles and since it will be a 2011 item, inventory should be good. OPI is in production now and will ship this spring (we will update you as the ship date is confirmed).
