Seeds For Hope

It's been ten years that we have gotten salons across the U.S.A. involved with the American Cancer Society (ACS) through our program Salons for the Cure.

Each year we come up with a unique item for salons to buy and then resell to their clients. Last year we sold over 20,000 bookmarks. For 2009, I am most excited about our newest item, Seeds for Hope.

Seeds for Hope is actually a packet of lovely wildflower seeds packaged exclusively for tng worldwide by the Bentley Seeds company. The cost is only $1.00 per packet.

What I most excited about this year is that tng worldwide is making a donation on behalf of every customer who places an order during the Salons for the Cure program which runs May-June. Every customer will receive a packet of Seeds for Hope in their box. Just think of all the wildflowers that will be blooming!

Of course we are hoping that salons buy 20, 30 or even 50 packets and sell them to their clients. I am imaging the possibilities of marketing Seeds For Hope at the salon level--there are so many creative ideas. And the salon that buys the most packets will receive a very special award from both ACS and TNG.

Our goal is to donate and sell more than 100,000 packets with all proceeds going directly to ACS. We hope you will take advantage of this program and even if you aren't a customer of ours, we'll find a way to get you some Seeds for Hope!

Happy Friday!
